The good news is that our previously cancelled trip to tour the Riverbend Timber Frame facility is back on! We packed the car, dropped Beau off at the sitter and headed west – sadly no RV or stop in Pittsburgh this time! And, hopefully, no more fires! RIverbend started working on our wood on Thursday and we found out that ours was the first wood to be cut since the fire. Needless to say we believe our wood will be heavily scrutinized for accuracy! Our tour starts Tuesday at 9:30 and we can’t wait!
